Just my 2 cents. The game selects a random player (other than the Audience or the player(s) given the scenario to complete) to fill this spot. Change the on screen controls so their positioning matches the layout of the controller’s triggers. Allow maybe the plus or minus button to be used for quick chat “gather” or “retreat” and hold them to open a sub menu. Allow pressing A to bring up the super jump when you’re on the panel and use A to jump for instance. If I could make one change to the Switch version it’d be the controls. ![]() On mobile you’ve got the options always on screen. There’s no dedicated buttons for quick chat “gather” or “retreat” on Switch controller either, gotta go to the pie menu to choose. To select your Pokémon you go left and right which disables each one for the rest of your team for a second while your cursor goes by. It’s just easier!Īlso on Switch menu navigation is worse IMO. The super jump becomes the only button when you’re on the panel. ![]() Just tap the move and you can use it, or tap and hold and it becomes the AOE selector. On mobile the buttons are where you think they are. When I super jump I need to press something on the D pad to bring up the menu, use the R stick to select a direction and press R or ZR to jump which isn’t super intuitive and I always gotta watch the on screen instructions to remember how. The Pro Controller’s D-Pad being connected rather than discrete buttons means when I press right or left to learn a move I often press up or down as well by accident. The on screen controls show the ZR move above the R move, but the ZR button is physically below the R button so I’m constantly needing to remind myself which move is which and often I hit the wrong button. That said, the controls trip me up on the Switch. I think it looks nicer on Switch, and if you plug into the dock with a pro controller, LAN adapter and a PC monitor it’s a really nice way to play.
